Obituary of Emma-Theresa Cain

PARENT, Emma Theresa (nee Cain) Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the age of 83, after a short courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her hus-band John Parent and her sons John and Ricky. Loving mother of Terry, Joan (Desmond Ken-nedy) of North Carolina, David, Raymond (Michelle) Wayne (Christina), Danny, Laurie, Corinne (Chris Di Labio) and Dorinne (Rick Brown), all of Ottawa. Proud and loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Lois Gonyer and Dorothy Martineau. Daughter of the late Sarah and Walter Cain. Predeceased by siblings Bill, Frank, Joe, Katie and Gertrude. Will be dearly missed by all. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. (Centretown) Sunday, July 30, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday, July 31, 2006 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 1, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Saint Patrick's Basilica, Kent St., Ottawa.
