Mrs. Emma Lee Jackson -Savannah- Mrs. Emma Lee Jackson, 81, had her transition Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Candler General Hospital. A native of Burke County, she attended the public schools of Burke County. She was a member of Peal Grove Baptist Church in Burke County until she relocated to Savannah and became a member of Second St. John Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. Mrs. Jackson retired from St. Joseph/Candler Hospital where she was employed in Environmental Service. Her brother, Robert Goodwin; three sisters, Mamie Joe Cunningham, Louvenia Bennett and Daisy Mae Nelson, all preceded her in death.
