Obituary of Ellen-Estella-Irene Bacon

GROEN, Ellen Estella Irene (nee Bacon) - In her 77th year at the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford, Ont. on October 14, 2009. Wife of Andy Groen, sister of the late Lloyd, and Gordon Bacon (Gabby). Survived by son John Groen (Linda 2007)(Toby), and daughters Judy Zehr (Gerry), Sue Traver (Tom). Grandchildren Michael (Angela), Murray (Sarah), Adam, Becky, Tyson, Melissa, Amy and Brittney. Loving great-grandmother of Jonathan and new baby Chloe. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Irene enjoyed being a member of the Lynden Horticultural Society. Friends and family will be received at the CATTEL, EATON AND CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME, 53 Main St., Dundas, Ont. on Thursday October 15th, from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to commence Friday October 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cattel, Eaton and Chambers Funeral Home. Interment Mount Zion Cemetery, Copetown. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford would be appreciated.
