Obituary of Elizabeth-Jean Jordan

Elizabeth Jean 'Betty' Jordan PENNSVILLE - Elizabeth Jean (Betty) Jordan, 84, of Pennsville, went home to be with Our Lord, Saturday, July 14, 2012. She was born in Camden, NJ, and resided in Salem County all of her life. An accomplished pianist, Betty faithfully played at the Park Bible Baptist Church for over 57 years, and accompanied many musicians, including the "Higher Ground" Gospel Quartet on numerous concerts. The daughter of the late J. Davis and Ellen B. Huber, and sister of the late Dorothy Mae Huber, she is survived by her loving and faithful husband, John; her children and their spouses, John Jr. and Lois Jordan of Pilesgrove, NJ, Janet and Jud Lamos of Gent, Belgium, and Jeffrey and Susanne Jordan of Mountlake Terrace, WA; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Sugar Huber of Columbus; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 12 noon, at the Park Bible Baptist Church, 95 Sparks Ave., Pennsville, NJ. Interment will follow in the Pedricktown Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
