Obituary of Edward-Eugene Harrison

HARRISON Edward Eugene Harrison, age 73 of Lawtey, FL passed away May 7, 2002 at his home. He was born September 2, 1928 in Mayo, FL, the son of W.C. Harrison and Ruby Miller Harrison. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, and retired from NARF at NAS Jacksonville following 30 years of dedicated service. His memberships include the Madison Street Baptist Church, the Ezra Lodge #67 F.&A.M., Morocco Temple of the Shrine, Scottish Rite Bodies. Surviving are his daughter Debbie Sapp and husband Richard; his son Rick Harrison and Paula; his childrens mother Barbara Harrison; grandchildren Keith Harrison, Lauren Sapp, and Kristen Melendy; his sisters Betty Green, Clarice Stitz, and Gloria Smith; brothers Franklin Harrison and Wilbur Harrison; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held 11:00 AM Friday May 10, 2002 at Madison Street Baptist Church, 100 Madison St., Starke, FL with Rev. Jeff Crook officiating. Family members and friends will gather at 2:00 PM at the graveside in the Garden of the Apostles at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Keith Harrison, Dennis Harrison, Gary Harrison, Ronald Harrison, Larry Norton, and Doug Smith. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening (TONIGHT) from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park.
