He was predeceased by his four brothers David, Gerry, George, and Peter. Prior to his retirement, Ted predominantly worked as an entrepreneur. He was a hard-working individual that took great pleasure in spending time with people. He was someone that often put the needs of others before his own. Furthermore, his family was a great source of pride for him, and he was happiest when surrounded by them. As well, he highly valued learning in all forms and particularly took an interest in history, politics, and genealogy. He also enjoyed spending time collecting coins, and was an avid reader.
