Obituary of Edna Cain


CAIN, EDNA - The death of Edna Cain, formerly of Mountain Pleasant Ave., East Saint John, occurred on Friday, July 6, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 22, 1919 in Prince Edward Island to the late Oswald and Margaret (Doyle) Cain. Edna worked at Sally's Shops, until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Edna is survived by two sisters, Arleen (Bob) Powell of Saint John, NB and Elsie Gotell of Amherst, NB; one niece and four nephews. Besides her parents, Edna was predeceased by two sisters, Mae Rogers and Eva Creamer. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB with visitation on Monday from 7 to 9 pm only. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 12 noon. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
