WHEELER, Mrs. Dorothy aresident of Montgomery, ALdeparted this life on Monday, August 22, 2011. Funeral services will be heldSaturday, August 27, 2011at 11:00 AM from Holt StreetChurch of Christ with Brother Eric Thornton, officiating.Interment will follow in Eastwood Memorial Gardenswith Ross-Clayton FuneralHome, Inc., directing. Mrs.Wheeler will lie in repose atthe church one hour priorto the funeral service. Mrs.Wheeler was preceded indeath by her husband,Robert Wheeler, Sr.; brother, Henry Harden; sister, Elizabeth H. Bailey and herson, Bennie Wheeler. She issurvived by her loving family, including five sons, Robert Wheeler, Jr., Eddie(Joann) Wheeler, AlfredWheeler, Prince Wheelerand Alvin Wheeler; sixdaughters, Gloria Amos,Patricia (Stanley) Sheppard, Mildred (Charles)Henderson, Sandra (Milton) Calhoun, Cynthia (Ronald) Frasier and Lisa (Willie) Alexander; two sisters,Mrs. Mary Maber and Rosa(Leroy) Hines of Macon,GA; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four greatgrandchildren and host ofnieces, nephews, cousinsas well as a host of friends.The family wishes to extenda special thanks to VistaCare Hospice and Staff.
