Obituary of Dorothy Tierney

Mrs. Dorothy Laird (nee Tierney), 92, of Belleville, N.J., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 8:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley, N.J., at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, N.J. Mrs. Laird was born in Belleville, and resided there since 1946. She was a loving homemaker to her family. Mrs. Laird is survived by her beloved children, Robert Laird and his wife, Lucille; Janis Laird, and Marianne Laird-Bird and her husband, William; her loving brother, Leon Tierney; her loving sister, Sister Mary Ann Tierney, and her precious granddaughter, Kristen. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Laird.
