Obituary of Doris James

Doris James, 76, of Louisville, died Sunday, December 14, 2003, at Rockford Manor Nursing Home. She is survived by three sons, George R., James R. and Eugene Murphy; three daughters, Sharon (Paul) Gagel, Susan Gerwitz and Darlene Carpenter; one brother, A.K. Burnett; eight grandchildren, Harold White, James White, Debra White, Doris Owens, John Napier, Anthony Shoemaker, Denise Shoemaker and Amber Carpenter; and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Rd., with burial in St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday.
