Obituary of Donald-John Wilkes

Long-time Employee OC Transpo Peacefully, in Renfrew Victoria Hospital, on Thursday, May 29, 2003 at the age of 49. Beloved son of Barbara and Don Wilkes of Cobden. Loving father of Krystal-Lee and Michael Kerwin. Lovingly remembered by special friend Christina Kerwin. Survived by sisters Diane Seguin (Denis), June Wilkes and Joan Kerwin (Bruce), all of Ottawa. Predeceased by his sister Deborah. Uncle Donnie will always be remembered and loved by his nephew Daniel and nieces Amanda, Emily, Deborah and Victoria. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street at O'Connor, on Sunday, June 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 2 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Throat Research) would be appreciated by the family.
