JACKSON, Donald - (Member of Lindsay and District Sports Hall of Fame and 1972 Olympian for the Sport of Archery). Entered into rest after a courageous battle with cancer at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Monday, January 26, 2009, in his 77th year. Loving father of Nancy and her husband Richard McQuaid of Omemee and Tammy Hill and her fiancé Gary Coard of Cameron. Survived by his sisters Marguerite Jackson and Barb Warren, nieces and nephews Cindy, Shawn, Kristi and great nieces Sarah and Piper. Private interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. A memorial service will be held at the MACKEY FUNERAL HOME, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, January 30th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
