BRANCH-HARRELL, DIANA, was born in Pensacola, FL on January 30, 1957 to the late Edward Branch, Sr., Dorothy Wright Branch. She was the 5th of 7 children. She was born with Sickle Cell Anemia, but she never let the disease get the best of her. She was determined to live life to its fullest and to be of service to mankind. She graduated from Miami Killian Sr. High and received her BA from FIU in Business Education and her Master's Degree from Nova University. She received her Specialist Degree in Guidance and Counseling from FIU. She was employed by the Dade County Public School System for 18 years until her health forced her to take a medical retirement. She loved children and it showed in her work. She started her career at South Dade Senior High,went to Charles Drew Middle School, and ended her career at W.R. Thomas Middle School. She was nominated for the Teacher of The Year Award while employed at W.R. Thomas, and was inducted into Who's Who of American Teachers. She loved the Lord and she loved attending church and studying God's Word. She was active in many Bible studies. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perrine until she moved to Tavares, FL. In August of 1995 she and Clarence Harrell were married for a lifetime of love and devotion to each other. They had a beautiful relationship. Clarence was faithful in taking care of her needs and wants to the very end. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving companion, Clarence, a devoted mother, Dorothy Branch, two sisters, Jacqueline Overton and Valerie Faison (Sam), two brothers, Edward Branch, Jr.,, Stanley Branch, one nephew, Bryon Overton, One niece, Samantha Faison, one adopted niece, Shelbei Reese, one god sister, Lori Chism-Reese, two godchildren, Michael & Dana Baugh, a devoted lifetime friend, Diane Baugh, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Perrine, 8900 SW 168 Street, Miami, Fl.
