Obituary of Denyse Thomas

THOMAS, Denyse Rachel We sadly say good bye to a loving wife, mother and grandmother Denyse Rachel Thomas who left us too soon after a courageous battle with ALS, on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of John Thomas and daughter of the late Blanche and Ernest Paradis. Loving mother of Bruce (Sarah), Katherine (Michael Halhed), and Gregory (Carolyn). Devoted and proud grandmother of Megan, Alicia, Courtney, Emily, Colin and Michael. Beloved sister of Maurice (Jeannine), Jean (Helen), Louise, Renee (Robert Cummings), Jacques (Juliette), Claudette (Edmund MacFarlane), Andre (Charline), Pierre (Diane) and the late Robert (Dorothy) and Claire. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Friday, February 28, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 194 Fourth Avenue. Interment in the spring at Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
