Obituary of Dennis Bacon

BACON - Dennis Bacon was born on April 9, 1935 and passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 13, 2007 in North Battleford. He grew up in the Dodsland area where he bought land and farmed until 1988. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, June Bacon (Ford); children, Brenda (Ben) Richter, Randy (Lois) Bacon, Bonnie (Rick) Haddock, and Barry (Lauralee) Bacon; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, Mabel Alexander and father, Rudolph Briemen. Dennis collected car memorabilia and loved to go for Sunday drives in the country with whoever he could cajole into driving him. The family would like to express their gratitude to the River Heights Lodge staff for their heartfelt care during his residence there. Memorial service for the late Dennis Bacon will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home, 2591-99th St., with Mrs. Joyce Salie officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the River Heights Lodge. Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
