Obituary of David-P. Jarrett


David P. Jarrett, 58BRAINTREE, Mass. - David P. Jarrett, 58, of Braintree, Mass., and formerly of Maine and New York passed away on June 21, 2005 at New England Medical Center in Boston after a period of failing health.He was born in Hornell, N.Y. and lived in Braintree, Mass., for the past 15 years. Prior to living in Braintree, Mr. Jarrett lived in Maine for several years.He was a route salesman for Frito-Lay, and most recently his route covered Dorchester and South Boston, Mass.Mr. Jarrett was a baseball umpire and a member of the South Shore Umpire League.He was the beloved husband of Therese Donovan-Jarrett; Loving father of Kayla Jarrett, Amanda Corbett and Ashley, all of Braintree, Debbie Rossi and her husband Joe, and Michael Jarrett and his wife Theresa, both of Windham; Son of the late Buddy and Helen (Donnelly) Jarrett; Devoted brother of Maryellen Padula and her husband Charles of Wrentham; Dear grandfather of Michael Jarrett Jr. of Maine. Also survived by his cousin, Katie Crow and her husband Mike of New York.Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., South Braintree, Mass. until 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, South Braintree Sq., Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to MSPCC, 399 Boylston St., Boston, Mass.
