David "Tim" Owens, 57, of Jupiter died Wednesday, April 9 in Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He was born in West Palm Beach and lived in Jupiter for 30 years, moving from West Palm Beach. He was a specialist SCADA systems technician with the South Florida Water Management District, where he was employed for 35 years. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Palm Beach Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Owens of Jupiter; two daughters, Jennifer Hill and husband Michael of Florence, Texas, and Olivia Owens of Hobe Sound; two brothers, Robert Owens of Boca Raton and John Owens of Eads, Tenn.; two sisters, Paula Connelly of Okeechobee and Patricia Rosenzweig-Owens of New York; and six grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 12 at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter. The Rev. Carol Barron of St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Stuart will officiate. Entombment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 11 a.m. to service time on Saturday.
