Obituary of David-Lloyd Hartley

HARTLEY, David Lloyd - At the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, surrounded by his loving family on Monday July 7, 2008. David Lloyd Hartley age 51 years of Corunna passed away after a courageous five month battle with lung cancer. Loving father of Ryan and Alicia Hartley of Napanee. Dearest son of Robert and Marie Hartley of Corunna. Also lovingly remembered by his sister, Susan Robertson and by his niece, Kimberley Hartley both of Corunna. David had most recently been employed with Melo Concrete. David's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Chilvers, Dr. Dostaler, Dr. Yoshida and to the Palliative Care Staff for their kindness and support shown during David's illness as well as to the many V.O.N. nurses that called on him at home and to the ambulance drivers from Corunna and Sarnia. Friends will be received at the KNIGHT FUNERAL HOME, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday. Interment will follow in Moore-Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Clinic or to the charity of one's choice.
