Obituary of David-H. Jordan


David H. Jordan, 56     GORHAM -- David H. Jordan, 56, of 59 LIbby Ave., passed away unexpectedly May 3, 2006 at his home.     He was born in Morristown, N.J., the son of the late Benjamin and Susanne Jordan. He attended school in New Jersey and then moved to Florida and lived Homestead for many years.      Then he and his family settled in Bridgton. He did various jobs including carpentry, roofing, lawn care, and security.      For the last few years, he was the handyman at Patio Park in Gorham. Dave was always there to lend a helping hand.      Just call me 24-7 and I will be there. He loved helping people.     Dave was predeceased by his step daughter Chandra Carlson.      He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Jordan and her son Nolan Fields of Otisfield; a son, Joel Jordan and his daughter Hadley Jordan of Naples; a stepson Keith Carlson of Las Vegas, Nev.; and his fiancee Donna Boivin of Gorham.     He was an avid outdoorsman and thrived on fishing and hunting. Dave will be missed by all of those that loved and cared for him. He was a friendly man who made others smile with his stories and jokes. He will also be greatly missed by Tammy, Richard, and his little buddies Jacob and Jonathan Hoyt. May he rest in peace.     Per David's request, there will be no funeral service. All friends and family are invited to gather at the club house at Patio Park, 59 Libby Ave., Gorham on Sunday, May 7 from 2-4 p.m.     In lieu of flowers, donationa may be made to:    Harvest Hills Animal Shelter    Route 302    Fryeburg, Maine 04037    David H.
