Obituary of Daniel-Rupert Jackson

JACKSON, DANIEL RUPERT Ocala - Daniel Rupert Jackson was born on June 7, 1918 in Zuber area, Ocala, FL. He was the son of the late Edward and Addie Jackson (Kinsler). He passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Arie Johnson-Jackson; seven children, Mary Helen Jackson-Blunt (Enoch), Beatrice Jackson-Williams (Clarence), Donnell Johnson (Myra-deceased), Dwanette Jackson-Dilworth (Ronald), Dion Johnson (Wendy), Damien Johnson, Michael Jackson; his eighth child, Arnette Jackson (Joyce) preceded him in death. He also leaves to cherish is memory, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren; his devoted caregiver, sister Ruby Rora, and a host of foster children, cousins, church family and friends. Daniel Jackson retired from the City of Ocala Water Department. His church affiliation was Shiloh Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where he was active in the Deacon and Community Service departments. Visitation for Daniel Jackson will be on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The New Cunningham Funeral Home. Funeral services for Daniel Jackson will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Interment: Faith Memorial Gardens.
