Obituary of Charles Wheeler

BRATTLEBORO -- Charles E. Wheeler, 74, died Friday, July 8, 2005, at Eden Park Nursing Home due to complications of diabetes.He was born on Jan. 8, 1931, the son of Perley and Grace (Davis) Wheeler of Berlin, Mass. He is survived by three sons, Charles Wheeler Jr. and his wife Liz of Ashuelot, N.H., Ronald Wheeler and his wife JoAnn of Putney, and Richard Wheeler and his wife Laurie of Dummerston; three daughters, Cynthia Clarke and her husband Michael of Brattleboro, Sandra Dee Wheeler of Bellows Falls and Sybille Sharp of Iowa; three brothers, Milton, Sonny and Ralph; four sisters, Eva, Elsie, Ida and Louise; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.At Mr. Wheeler's request, there will be no services.Donations may be made to Eden Park Nursing Home Activities Fund, 187 Oak Grove Ave., Brattleboro, VT 05301.
