MURCOTT - Charles Edward died on October 19. Born in New York City February 11, 1920. Beloved husband of 67 years of Constance (nee Hillery). Loving father of Peter Murcott (Fran), Susan Murcott (Ralph Coffman), Elizabeth Beach (CA Beach), and Thomas Murcott (Paula). Cherished grandfather of Kristenand Dylan Murcott, Connor andTravis Beach (Elizabeth/CA),Madeline, Amelia, Louisa, andLila Murcott. Graduate of Wesl-eyan University. WWII Veteran,US Navy. Retired President,Chairman, and Board Member ofLumex, parent company of Cybex International, a Long Island-based manufacturer of medical and rehabilitation equipment that he founded in 1947. Active volunteer and philanthropist, serving as Chairman of Huntington Hospital's Board from 1985 to 1990. Also served on the Board of the Nature Conservancy and the Long Island Association and as President of the HuntingtonCountry Club. Funeral serviceswere private. In lieu of flowers, family requests dnations be directed to Huntington Hospital.
