Obituary of Charles-Edward Webster

Charles Edward Webster SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Charles Edward Webster, 134 Hillside Drive, passed Tuesday, January 25, 2011. He was the husband of Mrs. Jacqueline Foster Webster. Mr. Webster was the son of Mrs. Mary Wells Dawkins and the late Mr. Charlie Webster and his stepfather, Mr. Floyd Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC. He was a member of the Cleveland Chapel Baptist Church where he served on the Trustee Board. Mr. Webster was a cook at the Mary Black Hospital for 22 years. Survivors include one son, Mr. Darren Hughes of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Penson of Spartanburg, SC, Ms. Pamela Wells of Boiling Springs, SC; four brothers, Mr. James Webster, Mr. Bobby Webster, and Mr. William Wells, all of Spartanburg, SC, and Mr. Kenneth Webster of Savannah, GA; one stepbrother, Mr. Larry Dawkins of Gaffney, SC; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at the home at 134 Hillside Drive and the home of his mother at 804 North Vernon Street, Spartanburg, SC. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
