MENARD, Estelle - After a brief illness at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, August 24, 2004. Cecile Estelle Menard (nee Andre) of Carleton Street; formerly of Green Valley; age 66 years. Dear mother of Nancy Lauzon (Kevin) of Cornwall, Helene Belanger (Charles) of Aylmer, Quebec, Marc Menard (Ginny) of Ottawa, Jocelyne Racine (Stephane) and Alain Menard (Monique) both of Alexandria. Grandmother of Sonya (Mrs. Mark Wilson), Aubrey Lauzon (Alison), Matthieu, Martine, Francois, Gina and Nollan and great-grandmother of Reid and Margo Wilson. Wife of Jean-Paul Menard of Green Valley. Dear daughter of the late Elzear Andre and the late Dora Leger. Dear sister of Lucille (Mrs. Fernand Brunet) of Glen Robertson, Claudette (Mrs. Eric Pilon) of St. Raphael’s, Claude Andre (Edna) of Cornwall, Hector Andre (Francine) of St. Raphael’s, George Andre (Therese) of Hull, Quebec, Marguerite Andre of Ottawa, Reina (Mrs. Jean-Guy Levert) of Alexandria and Ronald Andre (Mena) of St. Genevieve, Quebec. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marie de l’Assomption Church, Green Valley on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Ste. Marie de l’Assomption Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Estelle, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
