Obituary of Catherine Wheeler

ROCHESTER — Catherine P. Cunniff Wheeler, 66, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, very peacefully at Hyder Hospice in Dover. She was born in Maynard, Mass. on October 5, 1945, to the proud parents, Charles E. Cunniff and Frances Seither. She was married for 32 years to the late, Charles I Wheeler Jr. She worked at G.E. for many years, after retirement, she loved her antiques.She is survived by, her daughter, Candace L. Wheeler Curran, husband, Scott; 2 brothers, Charles and Pete Cunniff; brother-in-law, Wesley Wheeler; niece, Melissa Wheeler and her daughter, Carimia Wheeler; and a nephew, Craig Wheeler. Also, a grandson, Craig Gagnon and two step granddaughters, Courtney and Caitlin Curran. We will all miss Cathy's sense of humor and how she always cared for everyone, no matter who you were or what you did. She was the strongest person we will ever know. She will be loved in Heaven, as she is with her son, Charlie Wheeler; daughter, Dawn Wheeler, and her late husband, Charles. Although they are all gone, we are all blessed to have had them in our lives. We will always miss you!Cathy did not want a funeral, she wanted a celebration of life party.
