Catherine Adams Thomas MARIANNA - Catherine Adams Thomas, 66, a cook, died Thursday, April 21, 2005. The service will be at 11 a.m. CDT Saturday at Saint James AME Church, with burial at Orange Hill Cemetery. Friends and family will receive the immediate family at the deceased's home at 4170 Hickory Lane, Marianna (850-482-4706).Peoples Funeral Home (850-482-2233) is handling arrangements. She is survived by four sons, Mr. Jeffery Thomas of Marianna, Gerald Thomas (and wife Katherine) of O'Fallon, Ill., Donald Adams (and wife Kimberly) of Vancouver, Wash., and Bobby Adams (and wife Kathelyn) of West Palm Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Harvey (and husband Edward Sr.) of Tallahassee; a daughter of her friend that she took in and called her daughter, Ms. Keishia Rodgers Dawsey of Marianna; five brothers, Mr. Jimmy Adams (and wife Roberta) of Hempstead, N.Y., Mr. George Adams (and wife Kathy) and Mr. Larry Adams (and wife Jean), both of Tallahassee, and Mr. Calvin Adams and Mr. Chatman Adams, both of Marianna; three sisters, Mrs. Elvira Williams of Crawfordville and Earnestine Adams and Mrs. Dorothy Harley, both of Marianna; and seven grandchildren.
