Citrus GraderLAKE WALES -- Mrs. Carol Wells Thomas of Lake Wales died of lung failure April 8, 2004, at Florida Reception Hospital in Gainesville. She was 36.Born in Brooksville on June 5, 1967, she later came to Lake Wales. She was a citrus grader. She was a member of Full Gospel Church of Jesus, Lake Wales.Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, Tony L. Thomas; sons, Maurice Herring, Taurus Wells, both of Lake Wales; daughter, Tashayla Story, Lake Wales; mother, Dollie Davis, Lake Wales; father, Willie Wells, Lakeland; brothers, Tracy Ray, Lake Wales, Jason Wells, Jacksonville; sisters, Cortrina Wells, Shayla Davis, both of Lake Wales; stepsisters, Glenda Horne, Lake Wales, Geraldine Wilbur, Atlanta; stepbrother, Willie Davis, Lake Wales; grandmother, Dora Wells, Swainsboro, Ga.; one grandchild. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Epps Mortuary, Lake Wales. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Full Gospel Church of Jesus, 1123 Harding Ave., Lake Wales.
