-> Carol Casey Williams, 60, went on to her eternal reward on January 22, 2005 after suffering a stroke on January 3rd. She will be missed by family and many friends. Born in Savannah, she was a long time resident of Tybee Island. She was a retired Clerk of Court for the Tybee Island Police Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rooster Williams; her father and step-mother, James and Lillian Casey; mother and step-father Dottie and John Howard; and her sister, Cathy Bednarski. Survivors: daughter, Colin Williams; son and daughter -in-law, Sean Williams and Patty Williams; brothers and sisters in law Jimmy and Cathy Casey, Tommy and Patty Casey; step-brothers and sisters-in-law John and Cindy Howard, Jimmy and Jan Howard; Step-brother Steve Howard; step-sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Jim Hillegass; grand-children James Williams, Aadree Martinez and Andre Martinez. Memorial service and Reception: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the American Legion Post 154, Veterans Drive, Tybee Island.
