Obituary of Carmela Raso

CUDA, Carmela (Raso) Cuda, Peacefully passed away at the Welland Hospital on Saturday, August 21, 2004 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Francesco Cuda (1990). Dearly loved mother of Tony (Filomena), John (Lois), Angie Mascitelli (Dan) and Dominic (Shirley). Loving grandmother of Frank Cuda, Julie Kirkwood (Dave), Lara Mascitelli, Cindy and Jenny Cuda, Nathan, Venessa and Tiffany Cuda and Ashley Marquis. She is survived by her sisters Litterina Isabella, Rosa Iannazzo and Caroline Manc uso, brother Jerry Raso and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Maria Raso, and sisters-in-law Rose Butera and Francesca Cuda. She enjoyed family gatherings, Tim Horton's Coffee and Chinese food but her greatest pleasure came from her garden and her roses. The family will receive their friends at J.J. PATTERSON & SONS FUNERAL RESIDENCE, 19 Young Street, Welland on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Vigil will be held at 7 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be celebrate d in the Parish Community of St. Kevin on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
