A long time Alabamaresident, Caroline RayCAMPBELL died May18, 2007. She graduated from the University of Alabama and belonged to Alpha DeltaPi Sorority. She was asoloist at the FirstChurch of Christ, Scientist, and was active inthe church and the civic community formany years in additionto being a schoolteacher. She was alsoa pianist and taughtthat as well. She servedas a Regent in theAnne Phillips Chapterof the Daughters of theAmerican Revolution.Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husbandof 63 years, PattersonColin Campbell, andtheir daughter, MaryCampbell McLemore,son-in-law, Price C.McLemore, Jr., grandchildren Price C. McLemore III and wife Dinah, and Mary AileenMcLemore Jerninganand husband Taylor,and great grandchildren Camp and Eli Jernigan, and Mary Evelyn and Price McLemore IV.
