Obituary of Betty-Jane Henderson

August 9, 2007 Betty Jane Henderson, 75, of St. Luke Residential Facility in Oswego, NY, formerly of Route 104A, Sterling, NY, died Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY. Betty was born in Auburn, NY, on March 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Richard and Katherine McDonough Neugent. She had resided in Sterling for 14 years, moving from the town of Victory, NY. She was retired from Syracuse Electronics in Syracuse, NY. She was a member of the Victory Fire Department Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, Leigh Ann (Jack) Cooley of Sterling and Patricia (Stephen) Aldrich of Port Byron; two sons, Larry (Sharon) Henderson and Dan (Donna) Henderson, all of Red Creek; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary (Robert) Dufford of CA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Mark C. Henderson, in 1990 and by a son, Mark S. Henderson, in 2006. Friends and family may call at Jewell Funeral Homes Inc., 13164 South St., Cato, NY, on Monday, August 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial will be in Victory Cemetery, town of Victory, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to Fair Haven Ambulance Fund, Fair Haven, NY.
