Obituary of Betty Henderson

HomemakerPOLK CITY -- Mrs. Betty Jean Henderson of Polk City died of cancer Saturday (March 15, 2003) at Grace Healthcare of Lakeland. She was 61.Born Jan. 11, 1942, in Richmond, Va., she came here from Richmond in 1975. She was a homemaker. She attended Combee Road Church of God.Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Garland "Pete" Henderson. She is survived by her sons, Keith J. Rowland, Polk City, Kenneth Rowland, Lakeland, Joseph Rowland, Craigsville, Va.; daughters, Rebecca Phillips and Cherri Riddle, both of Richmond; sister, Barbara Frank, Auburndale; brother, William Bourne, Mechanicsville, Va.; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Gibsonia Full Gospel Church of God.
