Obituary of Betty-Eileen Wilson

WILSON, Betty Eileen - Early morning on Monday, July 7, 2014, Betty Wilson of Thornhill, ON, quietly passed away at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. Beloved wife of her true love James for 53 years. As the heart and soul of the Wilson family, cherished mother of her two boys Brian and Stephen. True friends with the daughter she never had, Stephen's caring wife Alicia. Loving and proud grandmother to Elizabeth, Victoria and Scott. Devoted sister to Peggy Powell and brother-in-law Keith Powell and sister-in-law Riet Scott and her brother the late Gerald Scott. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Doreen Birch. Adoring aunt to her many nieces and nephews from the Powell, Scott, Birch and Wilson families. Betty was an elegant, kind and gentle woman, known for her love of family, as well as gardening and all things nature - especially birds. A visitation will be held at 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill.
