Obituary of Berthe Nadon

NADON, Berthe Florence Peacefully among her friends at the Residence Simon in Rockland on Monday, August 4, 2003 Berth Chapman passed away in her 103rd year. Predeceased by her parents Thomas Chapman and Rose Anna Ladouceur; her husband Leon and son Pierre Nadon. She will be sadly and lovingly remembered by her niece Lucille (Ron Yaworski) of Orleans; sisters-in-law Clara (the late Leopold Nadon); Fleurette (the late Napoleon Dube) and Jeannette (the late Orville Colby) of Michigan, USA; many friends, nieces and nephews. Mrs Nadon was a founding member of La Federation nationale des femmes Canadiennes francaise and a volunteer extraordinaire for many years with Saint Vincent de Paul and Le Centre d'accueil Champlain, Vanier. Sincere thanks to Mrs. Genevieve Morris, proprietor Residence Simon for her understanding and co-operation; to her wonderful staff for their dedication and excellent care; to Dr. Bernard Seguin, Saint Elisabeth Health Care Palliative Unit and ParaMed Home Health Care workers for their unfailing care and attention. A Funeral Service will be held for Berthe Nadon and her son Pierre at Tres Sainte Trinite Church, 2178 Laurier St., Rockland on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a private burial of their ashes at Notre Dame Cemetery, Vanier.
