Obituary of Ben Wilson

<!-- FH = Woodfin Memorial Chapel 615-893-5151 -->Ben H. WilsonBen H. Wilson, age 78, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012. A native of Gainesboro, TN and a longtime resident of Wilson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Tommy Wilson and Oder Mai Carnahan Wilson; his wife, Nancy Snyder Wilson; and three sons, Jackie Dale Wilson, Mancele "Monk" Lee Wilson and Benny Ray Wilson. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Pastor David Dunn will officiate. Burial will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Wilson is survived by his three daughters, Teresa F. Wilson Black and her husband Wayne of Lascassas, TN, Paulette Wilson Clark and her husband Tommy of Liberty, TN and Margie Wilson; two sisters, Elease Wilson and Christine Wilson both of Smyrna; a brother, Roy Wilson and his wife Wanda of Smyrna; nine grandchildren, Benita Dawn Fitzgerald, Alicia Nickens, Amy Lynn Hastings, Jacob Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Lacole Wilson, Katie Barefoot and her husband Jason and Logan and Morgan Clark; 14 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.Mr. Wilson was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church and was a retired foreman with Lebanon Wire Products. Mr. Wilson enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid wildlife hunter. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed by the service all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 615-893-5151 Online condolences can be made at www.woodfinchapel.com
