Obituary of Barbara Wheeler

WHEELER, Barbara Henrietta (nee Kohler) 19 April 1930 - 19 March 2011 Peacefully, in her sleep at Garden Terrace, Kanata. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) in June 2009. Loving mother of Brian (Penelope), Lianne (David), Gayle (Real), Janine (Ron), Cheryl (John), and Lynn (Kevin). Loved and fondly remembered by her grandchildren Warren, Mark (Alyssa), Linda, Lindsey, Katelin, Bradley, and Julia. Dear sister of Sandra Compton (Robert) of Colborne, Ontario. The family wishes to thank the staff of Garden Terrace, for their care and compassion during her final few months. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Reception at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Rd, 613-829-3600, on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 7 - 9 p.m. Private interment at Pinecrest Cemetery at a later date. In memoriam, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be much appreciated.
