Obituary of Barbara-U. Anderson

Barbara U. Anderson, 71, Rotonda West, died Aug. 16, 2003. She was born in Poland on July 2, 1932, and came to Charlotte County from Buffalo, N.Y., in 1983. She was a member of St. David's Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband, Bruce S. of Rotonda West; a son, Jerry Ziarnicki of Englewood; a sister, Hanka Cieslak of Germany; two grandchildren; four stepchildren, Elaine Elliott of Pittsburgh, Stephen of Sarasota, Thomas of Franklyn, Pa., and Kenneth of Pittsburgh. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. David's Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of S.W. Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. The Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge.
