Obituary of Barbara-R. Henderson-Head

Henderson-Head, Barbara R. ALBANY Barbara R. Henderson-Head passed away on Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Albany County Nursing Home Hospice. She was 82. Born on March 23, 1926 to the late Leanna Fields Johnson and Mose Johnson of Okolona, Miss. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Head and her son, Bruce Henderson; also her siblings, Louise Henry (Dooley), Curtis Johnson, Caldonia Darden, Evelyn Crawford, Josie Bryant, Anne Crump (Monkey), Fields Johnson (Bubbles), Garland Johnson, William Earl Johnson, and Mildred Johnson (Juanita). She leave to mourn one sister, Shirley R. Blanchard of Albany; two grandsons, Bruce Jr. and Zachary Henderson of Milwaukee, Wis.; and a sister-in-law, Lillian Head. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m. from Garland Brothers Funeral Home, 75 Clinton Avenue, Albany, N.Y.
