Obituary of Barbara-M. Jordan

Barbara Mooney Jordan, 60, of Miford Church Road, and formerly of Avice Dale Drive, died peacefully while sleeping in her home Nov. 4, 2002. Mrs. Jordan was born in West Helena, Ark., and was employed for many years as a telephone operator for Southern Bell. She was an active member of Taylors First Baptist Church. Surviving are her mother, Viola Mooney, of Conway, Ark.; a son, John Franklin (Skipper) Dorsey, of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and two brothers, Johnny Mooney of Conway, Ark., and Ernest Mooney of Frostproof, Fla. Funeral services will be held at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel, at 3 p.m. Sunday, with visitation, prior to the service, at the church, from 2 to 2:50 p.m. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
