Obituary of Barbara Henderson

Barbara Henderson, of 3701 W. Georgia Road, Pelzer, died Monday at Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the gospel choir, and was on the usher board. She was a member of Ruth Chapter No. 69 Order of Eastern Star International, and a 1972 graduate of Woodmont High School. She is survived by her mother, Frances Allen of Pelzer; her father, Lee Roy Young Sr. (Alice) of Pelzer; sisters, Lorraine Henderson of the home, Loretta Ramey and Diane Reid (Robert), both of Pelzer; brothers, Fred Dean (Jestine) of Piedmont, and Lee Roy Jr. (Marie) of Pelzer; grandmother, Annie B. Henderson of Riverside Nursing Home, Piedmont; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Flat Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Terry A. King officiating. Burial will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Flat Rock Baptist Church in Piedmont.
