Obituary of Anne-Orlandi Thomas

Anne Orlandi Thomas, 95, died Sept. 29, 2008, at her daughter's home. She was born in New York City and had been a winter resident of Port St. Lucie since 1985. In 1994, she became a full-time resident of Port St. Lucie, coming from East Northport, N.Y. She was employed by MetLife for 20 years. She was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Survivors include her daughter, Celeste C. Thomas of Fort Pierce; brothers, John Orlandi of Port St. Lucie and Eugene Orlandi of East Northport; and sister, Grace Kirchner of East Northport. She was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Catherine G. Orlandi. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at Yates Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, with a vigil service at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 3 at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
