Obituary of Anne-Marie Farrell

ObituaryAnne Marie Farrell, 90, of Fort Myers, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002. She was born in New York City, NY. She graduated from the Queens College of New York with a Masters Degree in reading therapy and taught at Glenwood Landing school, Glen Cove, NY for over 25 years. She came to St. Petersburg from Long Island in 1972 and subsequently to Fort Myers in 1986. Mrs. Farrell was a member of the Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving family of four daughters, Nancy (Dennis J.) Agnew, Fort Myers, Joan Farrell, Okinawa, Rosemary (James) Hubbard, Wilder, VT, Isabel (Fernando) Betancourt, Fort Myers; four grandchildren, Abigail and Ethan Hubbard and Sabrina and Kelzey Betancourt. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1999. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (TODAY) at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection with a Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to Hope Hospice. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
