Obituary of Angeline-M. Pariso


->Age 87, of 222 Bloomer Ave., Elmira, NY, went to be with her Lord and her husband, John who predeceased her in 1999. Angie was also predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary Altilio, brother, Joseph Altilio and sister, Pauline Rossi. Angie is survived by her sons, Patrick (Barb), John (Mary Margaret), Richard (Louise), Donald (Dolleen) and Thomas (Anne); daughter, Mary (Bob) Held; maternal aunt, Grace Bowes; brothers, Francis (Tammy) and Gerald (Jan); sister, Antoinette (John) Pirozzolo; brothers-in-law, Ronald Pariso and Philip Pariso; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Altilio, Anne Pariso, Jeannie D'Amico and Patricia Neal. Angie has 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, where she worked as a nurses aide in the Geriatric Unit. She was a lifelong member of St. Anthony's Church, a member of the Sacred Heart Ladies, Italian American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. After retiring , Angie enjoyed her grandchildren, loved playing cards and was an avid Yankees fan, except for this season. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 27th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will take pace there on Thursday, October 28th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, with Father Richard Farrell as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
