Obituary of Andrew Jackson

JACKSON, Andrew, 93, of Riverview, Fla., formerly of Columbus, Ind., passed away June 6, 2009, Brandon, Fla. He was born February 18, 1916, in Clay County, Ky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Omega Wheeler Jackson. He leaves behind one son, Terry Lee Jackson (Nancy) of Riverview; two grand-children, Andrew Patrick Jackson (Michelle), and Evan Lee Jackson (Claudine); and three great- grandchildren, Brian, Lindsay and Grant Jackson, all of Riverview. He retired from Cummins Inc. in 1978 after 28 years. He was a veteran of World War II, and was a member of Washington Lodge 13, Brownstown, Ind., for more than 50 years. Following memorial services in Riverview, funeral services will be conducted June 12, 2009, at Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia, Ind., with burial to follow in the Vallonia Cemetery.
