Alma T. Jackson, 68, Sarasota and formerly of Bradenton, died Oct. 12, 2002. She was born July 15, 1934, in Dothan, Ala., and came to Sarasota 31 years ago from Bradenton. She worked in the food service department in Sarasota and Manatee County schools. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God of Jesus Christ Inc. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Henry; daughters Brenda Thompson and Rochella Williams, both of Sarasota, and Renee Spencer of Atlanta; a son, Henry Jr. of Sarasota; sisters Annie J. Mitchell of Bradenton and Mildred Healy of Thonotosassa; 10 grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Pentecostal Church of God of Jesus Christ. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens. Jones Funeral Home is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pentecostal Church of God, "Women Ministry," 304 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Bradenton, FL 34208.
