Obituary of Alfred Jackson

Alfred O'Neal Jackson, 60, of Leighton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013. Visitation will be at Colbert Memorial Chapel Sunday evening, Jan. 20, from 6-9 p.m., and the funeral service will begin in the chapel Monday afternoon at 2 p.m., with Brothers Kenneth and Roger Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Vandiver Hollow Cemetery.He is preceded in death by his parents, Aldon and Birdie Jackson; brothers, Reedus and Hillard Jackson; and sister, Vera Miller.Alfred is survived by his common-law wife, Dianne Riner; son, Dustin O'Neal Jackson (Amanda); grandson, Drake Bryant Jackson; sisters, Clara Ayers, Doris Gargis; brother, Delmar Jackson (Gail); and several nieces and nephews.His family and friends will serve as pallbearers.You may sign the online guest register at colbertmemorial.com.
