Obituary of Alex-David Jordan

ALEX DAVID JORDAN MACHIASPORT - Alex David Jordan, 21, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at home. He was born Dec. 1, 1986, in Portland, the son of Rick and Martha Jordan of Machiasport. During his adolescence, he loved wrestling, video games and football. With his love of the ocean, he was employed as a stearnman in Frenchboro for a local lobsterman, Zack Lunt, for a couple years. In addition to his parents of Machiasport, family members include a brother, Derek Jordan of Machiasport; a maternal grandmother, Martha Lambert of Hampden; paternal grandmother, Betty Jordan of Bre-wer; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his close friends, Eddie and Ashley Sprague, Matt Wright, Bo Brown, Sasha Wright and many others who enjoyed spending time together daily. He will also be sadly missed by his rescued pitbull, Aries. A service of remembrance will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Head of the River Baptist Church, Route 191, Cutler, with Pastor Scott Porter officiating.
