Obituary of Albert Bacon

November 27, 2003 Albert "Eddie" Bacon, 77, of North Syracuse, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a native of Oswego and served in the US Navy during WW II. He was a member of Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, had been a Boy Scout Leaderfor Troop 151 and served as Finance Officer and First Vice Commander for American Legion Post 1297. He retired from Cicero Auto Sales. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Beverly M. Thomas; two children and their spouses Mark and Cynthia Bacon of Rocky River, Ohio and Cindy and Jeff Renk of Liverpool. Also surviving are five grand children, Jessica and Kyle Bacon and Alyssa, Justin and Matthew Renk; and two sisters, Arlene Dodge of Minetto and Eleanor Mack of Daytona Beach, Florida. Services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Fergerson Funeral Home with burial following in North Syracuse Cemetery. Today from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. calling hours will be at the funeral home, 215 South Main St, North Syracuse.
