Obituary of Alan-Mackenzie James


JAMES _ Alan MacKenzie (MacK) - A.F.C., 50 year member of the Royal Architectural Institute of B.C. Born Stratford-on-Avon, England on October 4, 1918, died suddenly in Melaque, Mexico, January 21, 2006. Survived by his wife Barbara and three children: Hugh (California), Heather (Ottawa), Malcolm (Chilliwack) and their families; and five brothers and sisters. MacK was raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia - member of a pioneer Colchester County family. A distinguished five years as a war pilot in the RCAF, a respected architect and a senior partner with Dirassar, James, Jorgensen, he was a loved and honoured head of his family. Remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. No service.
