Hanna, Aaron Joseph CLIFTON PARK Aaron Joseph Hanna, 26, passed into new life on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy following a brief illness. Aaron was born on November 14, 1983 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany and was the cherished and much loved son of Joseph W. Hanna of Clifton Park and Mary Jo Marshall Munhall and her husband Steven Munhall of Va. Aaron was raised in Cohoes and Green Island and moved to Va. where he resided for four years before returning to this area in 2002. Aaron's personality and charm endeared him to many whose hearts he touched in a very special way. He will lovingly be remembered for his talents as an artist. He was a phenomenal painter who enjoyed painting a variety of subjects. Aaron also enjoyed music, especially those songs performed by Disney recording artists Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana and others. He was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed watching and attending the matches of the WWF and the WWE and collecting championship belts and other items. A highlight in Aaron's life came when he was four years old and he met Hulk Hogan in person. His favorite food was burgers and ketchup. Aaron was very patriotic and enjoyed athletics. He participated in the Special Olympics and was awarded several medals for excellence in softball. He also enjoyed bowling. He was a whiz at video games and liked to be called "Businessman Hanna," due to his organization skills and the lists he created to help him complete his tasks. Aaron will be missed by his family and many friends. In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his loving sister, Amy Lynn Coleman (Matt) of Va.; his paternal grandmother, Mary C. Hanna (late Robert John) of Schenectady and his maternal grandmother, Mary A. Marshall (late George) of Va.; his adoring niece, Lindsey and nephews, Matthew and Landon; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham on Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. All other services will be held privately and interment will take place in the Marshall family plot in St. Jean's Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of customary remembrances, Aaron's family suggests that donations be made, in care of the funeral home, to a special fund established to benefit several organizations which Aaron appreciated and benefited by.
